The Earnests list Durs Rudy, Sr. (9/7/1766-8/10/1843), and his son, Durs Rudy, Jr., together because distinguishing each's work is difficult and uncertain. Weiser maintained Rudy Jr.'s fraktur are cruder than his father's and thus attributes Winterthur's fraktur 55.37 to the son.
